Formwork Design Engineer - HCMC, Vietnam

 

Your responsibilities

• Analysis of Customer’s inquiry and jobsite conditions.
• Planning of formwork/shoring/scaffolding solutions in PeriCAD software, including 3D design, shop drawings and special fabrication drawings.
• Combining different formwork/scaffolding systems to ensure a high level of data integrity, and be able to identify and report data inconsistencies.
• Creating bills of quantity and structural static calculations, considering the most cost-effective solution.
• Provide report to Management and submit information to the Customer in time.
• Cooperate with site supervisor and jobsite personal.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in construction company, jobsite experience is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD (including 3D-design), static calculation software (SAP or similar), advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented, with intensive spreadsheet analysis experience.
• Good verbal and written communication, with fluency both in English and Vietnamese.
• Strong work ethic, with ability to work independently and to multi-task.
• Open, trustworthy, and honest; able to strictly respect and follow PERI corporate compliance program.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese construction norms and formwork/scaffolding market.
